The Information Commissioners Office [ICO] have been appointed by the government to oversee data privacy across the UK
The ICO will prosecute businesses and individuals should they breach GDPR either through a disclosure or complaint.
Fines are in the range of: 2% - 4% of business turnover, Up to £10,000 for individuals
